Easter Egg Hunts Aren't Just For Kids Anymore!
This year I thought it would be fun to gather all the adults in the family for an Adult Easter Egg Hunt. We met at Kara and Steve's for some pizza and to plan our strategy. We thought the egg hunt started at 8, but when we got there we found out that the rules would be announced at 8:15 and the hunt would start at 8:30. This gave us time to scan the area for eggs and make our plans on how we would hold flashlights and get eggs, well at least the people who didn't have miner lights. My mom, Katie and I wore miner lights, so we could have our hands free to pick up eggs. At the count of 3 we took off, we were allowed to collect 8 eggs and we were also looking for a green frog worth $100. When we returned after collecting the eggs we looked for tickets in the eggs and checked to see what prizes we earned. Darnel and Katie were the only ones that came away with anything. Darnel got a $20 gift card and lottery ticket and Katie got a McDonald's value meal. Even without prizes we all had a great time!
